Government’s formula of “taking $1 from a rich man’s pocket and putting $2 in a poor man’s pocket” has been supported by the business community in Labasa. This comes as Minister for Finance Professor Biman Prasad hinted at the implementation of a single or double value added tax (VAT) system in the upcoming budget.
