Your prayers have been answered. While speaking to hundreds of supporters of the coalition Government in Lautoka yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Communications Manoa Kamikamica said the cries of the people who wanted change have been heard.

“When we think about the things that was done to us in the lead up to the elections things that made things difficult for us and how they tried to take some of us to FICAC,” he said.

“We could only thank God for bringing us through those challenges.

“God has heard the cries of the people and He has answered your prayers.”

He said that the coalition Government was committed to serving the people.

“Your Government is very serious about serving the people of Fiji.

“We all agreed to not have bodyguards, remove tinted glasses from our vehicles so you can see the ministers you have chosen and finally we have taken away the allowances of ministers.”

He added that through the leadership of Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, they would remain committed to their purpose.

“If you see our Prime Minister, he is revealing a new kind of leadership in this country.

“It is humble, respectful, loving and caring.

“That is the type of leadership that comes from God.”
