The Blues ended the Digicel Fiji Premier League (DFPL) on a high note, following a 4-3 victory over Battle of Giants finalist Navua in an intense match at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Sunday.

The newly crowned DFPL champions were made to work hard after Jackson Wale and Thomas Dunn put Navua ahead while Aporosa Yada scored for the Blues as they trailed 2-1 at halftime.

Saula Waqa’s second-half brace and a goal by Afraz Ali sealed the match for the Blues while for Navua Thomas Dunn also got his double.

BOG winner Labasa was held to a two-all draw by a spirited Nadroga side while the Men in Black are on good momentum going into the Inter District Championship after defeating Suva by 2-1.
